Craig Morton served as the Denver Broncos’ primary starting quarterback from 1977 to 1982. At age 34, he revitalized his career in his first season with the team, leading the Broncos to a 12-2 record, their first-ever AFC West division title, and their inaugural playoff appearance and Super Bowl berth (Super Bowl XII).
He earned NFL Comeback Player of the Year and AFC Offensive Player of the Year honors in 1977 while guiding Denver to back-to-back division titles in 1977–78 and three playoff berths overall.
He was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame in 1988. Morton passed today at age 83. RIP!

"I love the challenge, I'm excited about it. Hopefully we get back to where we been. I really don't think he's asking me to be somebody I'm not. He's asking me to be the person I am, or like the guys around me know me. He's just challenging me to be a better player on the field, because he knows I got it in me. I know that too."~Demaryius Thomas, on Vance Joseph expecting him to be a dominant player. http://broncoplanet.com/broncos-news/bronco-links-62117/

“It feels great. There’s really no way to describe the feeling in terms of what that meant to me. Every day you go out and meet new people that congratulate you. It’s a bit surreal because it happened so long ago. I played football 17 years ago and now you finally have this honor that hits you way down the line when you didn’t do anything else to improve your position with the Hall. I was retired. It’s kind of weird in that way, but I’m excited about it and I’m looking forward to it. I’m just grateful.”~Terrell Davis on making it to Canton. http://broncoplanet.com/broncos-news/bronco-links-61917/

“I’m doing good. I have a couple more weeks left on crutches and once that’s over, I should be able to start doing some more stuff to get myself ready (to return), probably about halfway through camp. I can’t wait to be back on the field.”~Shaquille Barrett. http://broncoplanet.com/broncos-news/bronco-links-61817/

"You have to be patient with the guys. You have to not take the evaluation as a daily deal; it's got to be a collective evaluation as far as the time. It can't be, 'Monday, he's better; Tuesday, he's better.' It's got to be a collective result as far as who is more consistent over time."~Vance Joseph, on the QB competition. http://broncoplanet.com/broncos-news/bronco-links-61617/
