The National Docketing Association was formed to unite calendaring and docketing professionals, enable the exchange of ideas, increase awareness, and establish professional connections. The National Docketing Association is a voluntary, non-profit professional association composed of members working in the private and public sectors and dedicated to fostering the growth and development of the docketing profession by:

- Promoting a high standard of professionalism to the legal community as well as the general public;
- Encouraging communication among members and related organizations;
- Supporting ongoing education and professional development;
- Promoting diversity of its members; and
- Demonstrating a commitment to honesty and integrity.
