2019 SIAM Front Range Student Conference 02/23/2019

Hello Facebook Friends! You are all invited to attend this year's Front Range Applied Math Student Conference, or FRAMSC for short.

FRAMSC is a day-long conference on Saturday, March 2 (That's next week!) right here in our math department (and in a few other rooms) in the Student Commons Building. We expect participants from seven other universities along the Front Range of Colorado and Wyoming and the conference will feature a dynamic plenary speaker, Dr. Jan Hesthaven of EPFL Switzerland who will talk about predicting tsunamis.

Most importantly, FRAMSC is a conference for and by students. Other than the plenary address, the conference features talks by math students only. So that means it's time to see whatever amazing research, pedagogy, or passion project your peers are proud of! If you want to attend, you can find all the information you'd ever desire by visiting www.framsc.com

Did I mention the FREE FOOD?! We really pull out the stops for FRAMSC, ya'll. Both breakfast and lunch are provided!

I hope to see you there!
