We had a great time at Project Homeless Connect 13! What an amazing experience. PHC13 helped over 1,400 homeless families and individuals, and our SASW team was on the front line from start to end! Great Job Team!

The Ready, Set, L.E.A.D. conference is designed to give students who impact the campus community a one-day experience to connect with other students and join forces to make a greater impact in 2013-2014. The one-day event will feature a general session on leadership styles and working with others, workshops designed to grow skills and knowledge, a networking lunch, goal setting session, and a social at the MSU Denver Soccer match.

Volunteer with Family Tree and Make A Difference Today!

The mission of Family Tree is to help people overcome child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness to become safe, strong and self-reliant.
We are seeking volunteers for Family Tree’s new Parenting Time Program in Aurora to serve as facilitators during supervised parenting time.
If you enjoy children and would like to be active with a dynamic team of social service providers, this may be the perfect fit for you!

We are seeking volunteers on Saturdays from 8:30am-12:30pm or Sundays from 2-6:00pm.

Individuals must attend one of the following orientation sessions: Saturday, July 27thfrom 10:00 – 1:00;
Wednesday, July 31stfrom 6:00 – 9:00;
Sunday, August 4 from 3:00 – 6:00; or
Wednesday, August 28 from 6:00 – 9:00.s

MSU Denver student:
Your input is needed!

Denver Public Works, in coordination with the Connect Auraria Coalition, is conducting a study in order to create a plan to enhance bicycle and pedestrian safety and comfort between the Auraria Campus and its surroundings.

A community meeting to discuss how you get to and from campus and to identify uncomfortable intersections and edges around the campus will be held: Tuesday July 23, 2013Tivoli Student Union, Room 320 A-C4- 6 p.m. The meeting includes an open house, a presentation and a discussion. Snacks will be provided. See the flyer under events for more details.
