Steps Stools!

I’ve been teaching at the Denver Tool Library for 7 years and remember my very first workshop building these step stools. I was nervous my voice was definitely shaking.

Many years later I feel more comfortable to even slide in some jokes (I wouldn’t call myself an entertainer so it feels good to get some smiles and laughs 😆)

This was a fun crew to teach they were all very dialed in and focused on my thorough instructions!

I hope to see these students again soon in another class and can’t wait to see finished projects :)

Finished projects and future woodworkers in just 4 hours!

Never used a saw? No problem! I’ll show you how and you can immediately put those skills to use on a project. I’ll take care of the shopping and guide you through instructions to FINISH a build :) because at home I think sometimes the hardest part is staying committed and actually finishing 😂

Tiered leaning ladder shelves are tricky but this class is still beginner friendly.

Finally got some planter boxes on the schedule! Its SPRING let's celebrate

Brand New Class! Cedar Planter Boxes w/ Sineah McGrady of . The First class will be Sunday, May 5th at 4pm.

Just in time for spring - build your own beautiful planter box for your garden! Planter boxes have a large number of advantages including soil control, pest control, ease of maintenance, improved drainage, extended growing season, going easy on your back, and they look great especially when you build them yourself. This class is beginner friendly - all skill levels welcome, woodworking experience not required!

About the Teacher: Sineah has been teaching beginner woodworking classes at the Denver Tool Library since 2018. After moving to Denver in 2016, Sineah discovered the Tool Library and soon after began encouraging others to safely use tools and build things with their own hands. She has taught stool/ plant stand, bookshelf, leaning shelf, cutting board workshops and more. Sineah will encourage you to creatively problem solve and by the end of class, will send you home with a project intended to impress your friends and yourself.
