Upcoming New Episode!!

Meet Ebony Rice, aka Emily . She is a young, multi-talented up and coming entrepreneur with a unique sense of fashion. Ebony is a Personal Stylist and has boldly relaunched her brand “Emilydidit, LLC”, during the pandemic, in Las Vegas Nevada.

Years ago when she moved to Atlanta, the New York native began freelance styling. She quickly picked up clients such as commercial and print model Mapillar Dahn and EncoreHD hair Magazine, along with Editor in Chief, Larry J. Stephens

Ebony is responsible for Mapillar’s spread in volume 10, 11 & 12 of EncoreHD Hair Magazine, her look at the release party, and many of her red carpet looks.

Anyone who knows Ebony knows that she has a fun and quirky sense of humor, and she is a joy to work with.

As the Lead Fashion Consultant for EncoreHD Magazine she acquired the name "Emily" by Editor in Chief Larry J Stephens, in homage to the team's favorite fashion movie “The Devil Wears Prada.” On any given photo shoot, you can hear him yell, “Emily!” at least a 100 times during a 10 hour shoot, hence the hashtag .

Ebony is a hard worker and kills the game every where she goes. Listen in as she tells us how she committed her life to change…..

Something that I recognized in life as a mom is that your children are watching. I have had many hiccups including the daily struggle I have with depression. But my biggest things has always been to show my children that you keep going, no matter what.

The first time I cut my hair, my kids came to the barber with me.
Quick plug to my boy for hooking me up that day, even though he thought I was going crazy. 😂. Anyway, youngest daughter was about 4 years old and she witnessed me shave my head with no emotional attachment and walk out with confidence. Both girls asked if they were next. lol

But who knew that I was teaching them a level of confidence that would be so important today in a world where image, selfies, and social media would take over. So when my 14yr old daughter asked to shave her head, I was actually opposed to it. I was afraid that she would regret it. She had asked me before but I said no. As I remembered my freedoms were limited growing up, I decided to let her do it. She knew where my wig container was and I already got her into that, so why not. Much to my surprise she loved it and was not shy about rocking it. She is actually who gave me the motivation to shave mine again, I was sitting on the fence for a while.

Be mindful what you do around your children. Remember they are always watching and can be influenced both positively and negatively. I may not have done everything right but at least I can say my beautiful daughter has learned to stand strong in who she is.

Meet today’s VIP podcast guest…Ashley Provencher!

Ashley started her entrepreneurial journey by owning a brick and mortar called Golden Rays Apothecary and Wellness, as a holistic healthcare practitioner. Due to Covid, she had to transition to an online business. Ashley believed she could make a bigger impact individually. So she decided to focus on one -on- one coaching.

She is a certified Herbalist, Reiki Master teacher, and Intuitive. Since she had to pivot her business to focus on life coaching, she could finally bring all of her tools of the trade together in order to help women become stronger.

She believes in emphasizing balance in the the wholeness of a person. She teaches women to be empowered and confident to get them on the path they deserve.

Ashley is not a stranger to mental and physical struggles. She has had to battle Multiple Sclerosis daily. She knew that she needed to change herself first in order to change the world around her. By turning over her own spiritual, mental and emotional health she was able to take charge of her own physical health.

Listen in as she tells us how she committed her life to change…..

I am so grateful that I have been given the opportunity to meet so many amazing people from day to day. I’m honored that these people are willing to share their lives and their stories with me. Being able to learn life outside of my own brings a fuller perspective on what living is and how to live.

It was customary when I was growing up to listen to your elders and learn from their wisdom. That respect for our older generation has seemed to dwindle with each new generation. It saddens me but at the same time I can see that the times have shifted to where younger generations are now experiencing more life lessons earlier on in life. So if we can just open our minds to listen to the stories of others, we can still learn and apply what makes sense in our own lives.

The world is changing around us and the lessons to learn in this new age world are on a different level. Open your eyes to what is around you and still keep the wise old lessons in mind and revamp them to the new world. Become the new wise person to which our upcoming youth can listen to and respect.

The people that I have met and have had the pleasure to interview have done that for me. Their stories put many things int perspective and allow me to have a healthy conversation about different aspects of life.

Journal, share, and teach your lessons so you can help bring balance and wisdom to your community. Be a positive example. Leave an impactful legacy.
