Smoky Hill High School proudly honored the inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 2026 this week, celebrating a remarkable group of individuals who have represented Buff Nation with pride, excellence, and lasting impact over the past five decades. CCIC Business Services Pathway students recently hosted Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, for a live panel where they asked their own questions and explored leadership, entrepreneurship, media, and whatโs next for business.

As we close out the school year, weโre celebrating and honoring all of our retiring employees for their years of dedication, service, and impact on our students, staff, and community. โค๏ธ
We also want to recognize two outstanding high school principals on their retirement, Jean Incitti after eight years as principal at Cherokee Trail High School and Gwen Hansen-Vigil after 19 years as principal at Eaglecrest High School.
Thank you for your leadership and the countless lives youโve influenced throughout your careers. Congratulations to all of our retirees โ we wish you the very best in this next chapter! ๐๐

At the start of the year, students in Visual Arts at Sky Vista Middle School designed sketchbook covers that reflected who they were๐จ.
Now, as the year wraps up, those same sketchbooks represent just how much students have grown creatively and personally along the way.
Through art, students explored their identities, took creative risks, and learned to trust their own ideas in a classroom led by Kelly Smith and AEP Apprentice Jordan Cox.
