Thanks to our wonderful, generous parent who donated a pallet of the most amazing soil for our gardens! Paonia Soil Co's Raised Bed Mix has been a life-saver for our school gardens! Our plants have grown in bursts inspite of some irrigation line issues and it is certainly due to the excellent properties of Paonia Soil! Thank you garden partners!!

Stop by the Temple-ELC gardens on Sunday, May 31st from 10:00am-2:00pm to pick up your “Homegrown” Mitzvah Seed Kit and help grow fresh produce at your home for local food organizations. The seeds in our Mitzvah Seed Kits mostly come from our own Temple-ELC gardens and can be easily planted in a pot on your patio or in a corner of your garden. We can practice the value of Shomrei Adamah, being keepers of the earth, return to agricultural roots to meet modern challenges around food justice and do the mitzvah of the first tithe simply by planting a few seeds.
