🛢️🎨 FACE PAINT REMOVAL TIP FOR PARENTS 🎨

One thing many people don’t realise is that what looks like a “reaction” to face paint is often actually irritation caused during removal rather than the paint itself.

Children’s skin is delicate, and aggressive scrubbing is often what causes soreness and redness afterwards. Baby wipes can also make removal much harder because they tend to smear pigment around the skin instead of properly lifting it away. That usually leads to more rubbing, more scrubbing, and very red little cheeks by bedtime 😅

Some colours, especially strong blues, greens and reds, can occasionally leave a temporary tint on the skin for a short while. This is completely normal and doesn’t mean the paint is unsafe.

The most effective and gentlest way to remove face paint is usually:

✨ Apply a little liquid soap or cleanser directly onto the dry paint first
✨ Gently massage it to loosen the pigment
✨ Then remove with tepid water and a soft flannel
✨For stubborn leftover colour, a tiny bit of coconut oil, baby oil or micellar water can really help.

And glitter follows its own laws of nature ✨
A handy trick is to gently scrape loose glitter away first using the edge of a bank or business card or thin piece of cardboard before washing. It stops glitter being rubbed all over the skin during removal.

The spider is always a hit once I paint one kid they all want that. Anyway… it was my first time painting a shark I don’t carry that on my menu (I should though) and not too shabby for the first time lol. Happy Friday! Long day 🦈🕷️

Mi falta de fe se preguntaba porque dios un día me prometió que me pondría en lugares donde e soñado estar. En esta ocasión en eso pensé. Que el cumplió su promesa aunque no lo creía ahora lo veo. Les doy gracias an mis amigas y colegas. Ustedes no saben pero yo estaba muy emocionada de estar aquí. Desde un bonito fin de octubre muy ocupado le doy gracias por todas sus bendiciones y por cuidar nuestros pequeños negocios que con tanta fe y esfuerzo hemos construido. Al estar pintando en el Empower Field @ Mile High tan hermosa energía de toda la gente para mí fue un regalo que no me esperaba estar ahí con mi equipo Denver Broncos creo que cerramos este verano con broche de oro. Ahora a descansar y disfrutar estos meses de unidad y agradecimiento junto con mi familia que an sido mi fuerza y mi motor para seguir dándole. Gracias a Dios 🩷
