The fulfillment of all of our desire is being in a relationship with God.

This is not to say the former things are unnecessary, but Jesus said that it is by "our love" that the nations would know we are His disciples. Think about the early Church, they weren't able to write up bulletins for everyone to have, or create videos, or had the funds to build giant cathedrals, what they did have however was themselves and they gave of themselves to the particular communities they were in and addressed particular things going on in each community.

"For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you EXCEPT Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith may not rest on human wisdom, but on Gods power." 1 Corinthians 2:2-5

How much would the world be set ablaze if we, His disciples, resolved to know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified and loved MORE?

In serving others, Mother Teresa served Christ. In her daily choice to follow God’s will she became a light unto others that radiated the presence of God. This print is a reminder that in serving others, we too can be a light of Christ.

Jesus is the ultimate "How To" get through this crazy world. He leads we just need to follow. He has paved the way, we just need to have courage to walk the same way. His way is far from easy, but His way is worth it. His way will bear far sweeter fruits in the end than following the way of the world.

As a convert, I continue to be amazed at how integral Mary is in our journey with the Lord. Recently, I read The World's First Love by Fulton Sheen and he wrote saying that Christ is the mediator between us and the Father and Mary is the mediator between us and Christ. While reading I received this image of integral linking points in a chain and Mary is an indispensable one. Mary who knew her Son most intimately was given to us (The Church) by Christ on Calvary. When Jesus was raised up on the cross offering Himself as a sacrifice for mans sin, He too offered His mother saying to the beloved disciple, "Behold your mother." The beloved disciple represents the Church. So Christ gave His mother to the Church and the Church to His mother.

What a great gift that the Lord has called us to Himself. He invites us to recieve Him at the table, at the Mass. Bishop Barron has an incredible short read all about the mass and the Eucharist. He points out that all throughout the Gospels Christ's message revolves around the Mass. It is through the Eucharist that we recieve eternity into our souls. Run to the mass, run to Christ.

The beauty of sacred scripture is that it all points to Christ. Scripture is the most elaborate and poetic love story between God and His people. The whole old testament points to Christ. It expresses the divine dance that happens with God and man. Song of Songs is so beautifully written and really shows this dance between the bride (us... the Church) and the bridegroom (Christ).

Our time here on earth is a journey to the "higher grounds." There will be incredible moments where we can stop and look how far the Lord has brought us, but we must not stop there forever. For until we reach Heavens gates, the journey is not complete. We must stay vigilant and keep climbing. It is a shame if we are to stop at a false summit and not reach the higher places the Lord had in store for us.

In this image Jesus and Mary hold the rosary together. Looking directly at the viewer they express that Marian intercession is a powerful tradition that has led the faithful ever closer to Jesus. Made manifest by the lives of the saints, devotion to Mary is an integral part of the Catholic faith. I hope this image inspires and encourages you to pray the Rosary - Isabella Keefe

The invitation of God is open for us to receive, but we must co-operate and follow Him.

There are so many paradox's in scripture that the Lord has given us to wrestle with. One of them is that Christ is the Prince of Peace, meanwhile He speaks that He came not to bring peace, but a sword. Be not afraid to wrestle with the teachings Christ has given us. I have found, it is in the wrestling that we get to know the Lord deeper.
