Our Veterinary Technology students recently participated in a community vaccine clinic with Humane Colorado , gaining valuable hands-on experience while helping keep pets healthy and protected. From patient restraint to vaccine preparation and assisting the veterinary team, these students are building the real-world skills that make great veterinary technicians.

Experiences like this are just one of the many ways our program prepares students for a career in veterinary medicine while making a positive impact in the community. 🐶🐱

Our partnership with FutureForward at Bollman and Washington Square allows our students to take 10 credits of our veterinary assistant courses, through concurrent enrollment, while still in high school! Upon graduation they can come to the Community College of Denver to complete their 6 credits to earn their Veterinary Assistant certificate and then continue on to our AAS Veterinary Technology degree program.
