3 years of freelance design! 🎨

I had a great year of growing and creating. I’m grateful to have worked with clients new and old on a wide range of projects. I supported 20+ clients, achieved my income goal and set intentions around the type of design projects that excites me the most!

Going into my next year of business I am actively seeking publication, editorial, and report projects. If you or someone you know is looking for design support, I’d love to connect!

Revisiting one of my favorite projects from last year because I am currently working on Volume 2 of the Colorado Tech Spotlight! 👩🏻‍💻⚡️
John at Dynamic Tech Media came to me to create a print magazine to feature the amazing content he has been creating about the Colorado tech industry. The inaugural issue was all about quantum technology and I learned a lot while trying to create visual representations of all the lasers, light and computing.
With this first issue we established the magazine’s aesthetic and style. I love working in editorial design, playing with layout, typography and puzzling all the pieces together. Can’t wait to share Volume 2 soon!

Two years of freelance life! 🎂
In my second year of business I worked with 23 clients on a wide array of projects. I designed a full magazine, multiple books, worksheets, presentations, web pages and social graphics. It has been an exciting year to build this business and strengthen my relationships with existing and new clients. I hit my income goal, worked out some good systems and was able to take my work on the road for a trip this past summer. Overall a great year in business! 🎨💻📚
I have been somewhat quiet on social as I have been busy working my butt off! But I’ll be sharing some exciting projects from the past year here soon. 🖼️

The Womanhood Unwrapped color palette is warm and low key feminine vibes. The deep green and brown tones root the palette in nature with a sage green and peach bring in a lighter accent. Pops of yellow provide a fun contrast that draw the eye ☀️ love how this palette came together and how all the colors interact with each other. 🎨

Long overdue client feature!! Womanhood Unwrapped is a community and online resource for women entrepreneurs. I worked with Lis, ’s founder, to create a fresh new look for social and the website. 👩‍💻
We wanted the brand to feel warm and organic while still being modern and clean. I created a typographic logo suite with hand drawn elements that are balanced by a clean san serif typeface. Hand drawn elements are present throughout the website and social media graphics as well to keep everything tied together. ✍🏻

Very excited to share that a few of my art prints will be available to purchase at local bookstore Petals and Pages! I am an avid reader and a huge proponent of independent booksellers, so to have my art being sold at is such a joy ✨ Denver friends- check them out on Santa Fe and let me know if you need a book rec!

There’s nothing like finding the right typeface for a project! Sometimes it takes a lot of scrolling to find that perfect fit. During the search I often find fonts I love but don’t have a project to use them in (yet!)
