This might just be our sweetest mentorship of the year 🍰
owner Ms. Lodene Turner gave a Whittier Elementary student the opportunity to explore her passion for baking. The results were as delicious as they were inspiring.
A huge thank you to Ms. Turner and her team for making our student feel so welcomed, supported, and encouraged.💕

Earlier today, our team had the privilege of joining the Tamarac Optimist Club for a special breakfast celebrating community impact. We were proud to be there in support of CRI Board Vice President Andrew Baker, who was honored with the club’s annual Community Service Award.
For the past eight years, Andrew has shown an extraordinary commitment to mentoring and supporting a DPS student. His impact is a powerful reminder of what long-term investment in young people can look like.
We’re grateful to the Tamarac Optimist Club for recognizing Andrew’s contributions and for their support of CRI. 💗

Our work would not be possible without the help of hundreds of volunteers who lend their expertise, time, and and hearts to our mission. We couldn't do this without you — and we wouldn't want to. Thank you. 🙏
