The AAEP Annual Convention is the world's largest education and networking event for veterinarians who provide care for horses. SAVE THE DATE!

Don’t Let This Deadline Bolt Past You—Submit Papers for the AAEP Annual Convention by March 1!

Do you have knowledge to share with your colleagues?

AAEP members and others are invited to submit papers for consideration for presentation during the 72nd Annual AAEP Convention in Las Vegas, NV, Dec. 7-11, 2026. All papers must be submitted online by March 1 and adhere to the General Guidelines for authors.

Couldn't join the fun at , but still in need of CE hours? Register for the AAEP Virtual Convention!

Virtual Registration includes on-demand access to all educational sessions PLUS twelve live post-Convention Table Topics held virtually Dec. 15-19. On-demand viewing will be available by Dec. 19, with all sessions available for viewing by Dec. 31.

Sessions will be available on-demand indefinitely for both virtual and in-person convention registrants. CE hours from on-demand sessions can be earned through December 31, 2026.

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2025 AAEP Awards, who were honored during today's President’s Luncheon at the AAEP’s 71st Annual Convention in Denver, CO.

• Dr. Tim Mair received the Sage Kester Lifetime Achievement Award
• Dr. Stephen Reed accepted the Distinguished Educator – Mentor Award
• Dr. C. Wayne McIlwraith was honored with the Distinguished Educator – Academic Award
• Dr. Liara Gonzalez was the recipient of the AAEP Research Award
• Dr. Jamie Clark received the inaugural Olive Kendrick Britt Rising Star Award
• Dr. Amanda McCleery accepted the inaugural Margaret Phyllis Lose Solo Practitioner Award
