Juneteenth represents the momentous occasion when news of freedom reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, on June 19th, 1865.

Today, we remember the struggles, sacrifices, and triumphs of people who had fought tirelessly for equality and justice. Juneteenth serves as a powerful reminder of the progress we have made and the work that still lies ahead in creating a truly inclusive society.

This is Astrid! She joined APsi because she wanted to find a place where she belonged. She really liked how familia is important in APsi. It’s also pushed me to get more involved on campus.

Alpha Phi will be partnering with a great organization to promote its philanthropy! You can make an appointment to donate blood or buy some baked goods, all of the proceeds would go towards womens heart health!
