Here’s what you’ll get:
· 11 pages - 12 eggs of each vowel (A E I O U) with a cvc word and a matching picture on each egg (color and B&W)
Directions:
•Print
•Laminate (optional but recommended for durability)
•Cut each egg on crack line
•Separate pictures & words to make finding & matching easier
•Keep each vowel family together for beginners or mix all together for more of a challenge
•Use for literacy stations, small group, or fast finisher time
*Option: Another way to use this resource would be to do a Write Around the Room activity! To do this, keep the egg halves together and hang them up around the room, have the students “hunt” for the short vowel eggs, and write down the words they find.
