Hello,
MSU Denver’s Day of Giving is April 11th, 2024! The Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences (ESS) wants to ensure that more of our deserving students can experience study abroad. The American Association of Colleges and Universities lists study abroad as one of eleven high-impact practices. They note the value of programs that allow students to explore cultures, life experiences, and worldviews different from their own.

ESS seeks to expand opportunities for our students to increase their understanding of diversity and enhance global learning by offering short-term study abroad trips every two years. Faculty have kept costs as low as possible for previous trips; however, these experiences remain out of reach for most of our students. Please help us open this door to more hard-working students!

The typical cost for a short-term study abroad trip is $3000. Our goal is to offer four students scholarships for $625 toward the cost of travel. Please consider donating to ESS Study Abroad for Day of Giving 2024 anytime between now and April 11th.

EVERY $1 counts!! Every donor matters, & Every ESS Roadrunner student appreciates your support!

Thank you for considering,

ESS Department faculty and staff
