NEW June Concealed Handgun Permit Class -- On Saturday, June 8th we will be hosting our one day CHP class from 9 am to about 3:30 pm. The morning classroom session will present the legal and tactical aspects of concealed carry and use of force. The afternoon session will give attendees the opportunity to shoot on a private shooting area under the guidance of very experienced instructors and professional shooters with significant law enforcement experience. We conducted a Red Dot Optics course for officers from the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office. Great group of officers and fine shooters. Undersheriff Dave Fisher is in the center of the group.

We conducted a Concealed Handgun Permit class on October 10, 2020. The day was beautiful and the shooters were marvelous. We started as usual at 9 am and finished at 4 pm. A big thank you to our instructors, Mary Predovich, Mike DeBakey, Mike Fultineer, Dan Predovich, Jr., Marnie Mannino, and Mitch Rima. Gun Cleaners of Colorado...As most of you know, we use "school guns" for many of our classes. I recently took over a dozen such pistols to Mike Axelrod of Gun Cleaners of Colorado in Palmer Lake. Cleaning guns is not my idea of a good time. Mike uses ultrasonic equipment to detail clean guns then he lubricates them so they look like new when finished. Mike is also a gunsmith, so he knows the ins and outs of all guns. Mary just found this old photo. Famous Texas Border Patrolman Bill Jordan (center), gunsmith, Fred Sadowski (left), and me (right). This was taken by Mary at the NRA National Police Championship in Jackson, Mississippi many years ago. I won my NRA Police Distinguished Medal with a C**t Python built by Fred. We lost Bill many years ago. Great gentleman.

Rampart Training is hosting Kyle Lamb of Viking Tactics and Guns and Ammo magazine to instruct a two-day Red Dot Optic Tactical Pistol Course on July 11 and 12, 2020. This course is for experienced shooters only. Class is limited to the first 20 shooters with paid registration. Individuals must pay at the time of registration. LE agencies may want a purchase order and we can work with a PO system.
The two-day class will be held on private property west of Sedalia, CO.

Cost of the class is $595 per shooter. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, check or cash. Attendees should bring 1000 rounds of ammunition for the two days.

Kyle Lamb will be teaching a Red Dot Optic Pistol class at our facility on July 11-12, 2020. Mary and I had lunch with Kyle a few weeks ago and he is anxious to teach again in Colorado. This is a rare opportunity for you to spend two days with Kyle. His schedule of classes, personal appearances, and work with SIG keep him very busy.
