Big news from our Birds on the Move in Autumn course — and it’s not about birds!
After class, instructor Ted Floyd made an incredible discovery: the first-ever record in Colorado of the Japanese Burrowing Cricket, an invasive species spreading across North America.
Even more amazing? He’d just finished teaching about how spectrographic analysis is transforming nature study — and that’s exactly how he confirmed his find!
