Congrats to the Class of 2026 and my first graduating class at North. We all walked into North probably a bit nervous 4yrs ago and it has been amazing to see you all today. Whether I taught you for one year or four years, it has been a privilege! The 2026 class has greatly impacted me and strengthen North’s graphic design program for many years to come. Enjoy what’s ahead of you and I can’t wait to see what you all achieve. Stay in touch, you know where to find me! - Mr. Wiant

This large 8ft art installation is the culmination of an 8 month collaborative class project that our 4th-year designers created together. They started by looking for symbolism in our building and neighborhood before creating their digital symbols in Adobe Illustrator. From there they took their designs to our laser cutter to create the wood pieces. Finally we were ready to cut, paint, stain and put together the final design after a lot of deliberation and critiquing. Stop by North’s front office to see what collaborative and hardworking Viking Designers are able to create!

Great job Sophia Digesualdo, Lea Gentry, Aubri Gonzales, Lee Monroy, Livi Hayter, Sophia Isom and Gerius Santoya. And Congrats on being our first cohort to complete the 4-year college graphic design pathway. Your impact will be felt in the building and design lab for a long time!
