One of my favorite paranormal memories...The Squirrel Cage Jail in Iowa.

We had just started investigating and were using the PSB7 Spirit Box. Repeatedly we kept hearing "turn it off" in what sounded like a males voice.

I was sitting on the floor outside of a cell door and told my friend that I felt like someone was standing over me. I felt my throat become tight but I was definitely not gasping for breath or anything crazy, just felt a slight pressure. After a few minutes I felt so uncomfortable I suggested we leave the area and regroup in the "safe space".

Upon entering the room my friend noticed the handprint on my neck and we immediately took photos.

One of the coolest paranormal experiences of my life no doubt. Apparently the spirits at the Squirrel Cage Jail do not like the spirit box much :)

Villisca and I are good friends.
I have stayed overnight at Villisca more times that I have fingers and every time is different.

Different feelings, different evidence, different conversations.

To say I am drawn to this location is an understatement. When 3-4 years go by and I haven’t been, I definitely start to miss it.

I think a good Midwest haunt trip is going to be on the books for 2023.

Pretty sure my friend said something behind me…oh no-one living was there…coo, coo, coo, coo, coo, coo.

Most of my favorite haunts have been located in the midwest. The energy in those States is unmatched and downright gnarly most times.

What makes it so much more intense?

I have always wanted to teach, to share knowledge and watch the lightbulb flick on for others.

One of my favorite things to do is sit in random places during an investigation. Sometimes you just get the vibe to sit in a tub!

I can believe this has been 8 years ago already!
