Yesterday was the groundbreaking ceremony of EPRD’s new skatepark, which is expected to open in the fall. One of our students Calvin Cornacchia and his older brother Cameron were part of the effort of writing grant letters and helping with fundraising. Thank you to them and many others for making this dream come true for our community. We are incredibly proud of your efforts!

Last week our 4th graders officially took the stage for Shark Tank presentations!

Students spent the past several weeks designing original inventions, creating prototypes, developing presentations, and pitching their ideas to our “sharks.” This project combined science, math, reading, writing, technology, creativity, collaboration, and public speaking into one authentic learning experience.
We were so impressed by the innovation, confidence, and problem-solving skills our students showed last week.

Future inventors and entrepreneurs are definitely in the making!

2nd grade is doing a countdown to summer!! Friday's theme was camp day. 2nd grade had activities for all academic subjects around camping and they made s’mores at the end of the day!

Buffalo Chorale performed their Spring Concert on Wednesday. What a wonderful evening filled with music, smiles, and so much talent! We are so proud of our 4th and 5th grade students for their hard work and beautiful performances.

Third grade took a walking field trip up to Bergen Park on Friday as part of a public art unit they completed this year. They had a blast exploring the sculpture walk in the park, having a picnic, and yarn bombing the primary picnic structure.
