Another busy weekend of fi****ms training in Denver!

This weekend we worked with students completing their Colorado Concealed Carry (CCW/CHP) training, CCW/CHP Renewal training, and Armed Security Guard Fi****ms Training.

From classroom instruction and firearm safety to live-fire training and qualification, students spent the weekend building practical skills and completing the training required for their respective programs.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and trained with us!

🇺🇸 Never Forget — September 11, 2001

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, military personnel, and ordinary Americans who responded with extraordinary courage.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives that were taken, the families who still carry their loss, and the first responders who ran toward danger while others were trying to escape.

September 11 reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and unity Americans showed in one of our nation’s darkest hours.

May we never forget those we lost, those who answered the call, and those whose lives were forever changed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

I don't understand why law enforcement thinks they are such a big "W". Most of these fi****ms turned in were very likely from law abiding citizens. Do you think gang bangers, organized crime and criminals are turning them in?

Colorado SB25-003: Know What’s Exempt

Colorado’s new requirements for certain semiautomatic fi****ms took effect August 1, 2026—but not every semiautomatic rifle falls under the law.

Colorado law specifically excludes 35 firearm models from the definition of a “specified semiautomatic firearm,” as they existed and were configured on April 10, 2025. That list includes the M1 Carbine, Springfield Armory M1A Standard Issue, R***r Mini-14 Ranch Rifle, HK SL6, HK SL7, SVT-40 and many others.

Save this chart for reference and share it with Colorado gun owners.

A man carrying a machete was recently seen walking through Denver’s RiNo Art Park. Incidents like this are a reminder that police response is not instantaneous—and personal safety requires awareness, good judgment, and preparation.

If you choose to carry a firearm, get trained. Learn Colorado law, safe gun handling, de-escalation, decision-making, and when deadly force is—and is not—legally justified.

Concealed Carry Classes of Denver offers new applicant and renewal CHP courses along with NRA fi****ms training and defensive pistol instruction.
