Britt Freer (they/them) is a nonbinary identified educator who has a passion for ensuring that gender diverse students and students with disabilities are treated properly in school settings. Britt has a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Psychology with a focus on Gender Diversity. They have over 10 years working with students who have disabilities and their families i
n school based and home based settings, including classroom and administrative experience. They also have experience facilitating youth support groups for gender diverse youth. They also have worked with individuals and families to navigate the rights of students who have gender diverse identities. Additionally, they have worked with parents and students in school settings to ensure that respect is being provided to each individual, as well as providing training to educational personnel on how to support gender diverse students on school campus. Britt believes that educational support for individuals who have a disability or a different gender identity should not have to go to extraordinary lengths to get support and recognition. As a result, they offer services on a sliding scale for families and individuals.
