I could get used to being a substitute teacher especially when it’s lunch time.

I have to say—St. James has the best school nurse ever! Even though I really didn’t want to go see her (I might’ve tried to hide behind my paws for a minute), she was so gentle and calm while taking care of my boo-boo. Now I’m all bandaged up and feeling much better! ❤️

After a summer full of belly rubs, naps on the couch (see Exhibit A 😴), and living my best relaxed life, I’ve officially traded in my chill time for school time—and I couldn’t be more excited! 🎒🐶

This morning Teddy made his rounds through a few classrooms, offering comfort and calm to students feeling the pressure of testing. With his calm energy and friendly face, he helped ease some anxiety and even brought out a few smiles. He is the PAWsitive energy we all needed today. Lincoln County Schools, NC St. James Principal

Paws in the sand, breeze in my fur—I’ve traded hallways for waves and belly rubs for beach naps. Soaking up spring break 🌊

Life’s been hard lately. Losing my sister, Nina, has really made me feel lost. Luckily I work at an amazing school with students who have so much compassion and help me feel better. Grief is hard but I know I am loved! 🥰 🐾

We made it through the first full week of the school year!
