Some of the women youāre calling āgoalsā are just really good at staying skinnyā¦. But that isnāt health nor is it fitness either.
Being smaller doesnāt automatically mean being healthier or more fit.
If youāre a woman who loves to rave, dance, travel, hike, or live an active life, muscle matters.
Muscle protects your bones.
Muscle supports your joints.
Muscle improves insulin sensitivity, which plays a major role in hormone health.
Muscle helps you recover faster after long festival weekends.
Yet so much fitness content still convinces women that the goal is to weigh less, eat less, and take up less space.
Ask yourself:
Do you want a body that looks smaller?
Or a body that actually supports the life you want to live?
Get strong.
Eat the carbs.
Build the muscle.
Feel good in your body.
The goal isnāt to be the smallest woman in the room.
The goal is to be healthy enough, strong enough, and resilient enough to fully live your life.

The weekends Iām not at festivals, you can find me at the farmers market. šļø
Nothing beats fresh produce and fresh goods. Today I got kimchi, kefir yogurt (so many good probiotics in these foods!), cherries and the best cup of coffee Iāve had in over a month. āļø
Itās nice settling back into routine after back to back festivals, I enjoyed it while it lasted because Monday Iāll be driving down to SoCal. ā¤ļøāš©¹
Maybe Iāll stop by another market while Iām down there. š¼
š¦ Since coming back from LIB Iāve been wearing my .co necklace every day. š„ŗ itās a beautiful reminder that life is full of change and transformation, that the messy middles lead to beautiful outcomes.
In a lot of ways, my life is messy. Growth in all avenues of my life is a bit chaotic right now, and has been for some time. But when I take a step back I realize I donāt give myself enough credit.
Itās so common to overlook how far weāve come and get stuck focusing on how far we still have to go.
That lack of self-reflection can trick us into doubting ourselves, even when weāve already overcome things we once thought we couldnāt.
If youāre feeling that too, let this be your reminder to look back at where you started, recognize where you are now, and trust that youāre capable of keeping going.
Getting good at something takes longer then we like to believe
Avoidance is the only guarantee you wonāt improve
In what world is eating 800 calories and flapping your arms āfitnessā?!
Thatās not the kind of āfitnessā thatās going to keep up with the Brave Lifestyle. Iāll tell you that.
These, RX Bars, and dried Edamame are my faves. š
