Here's the part nobody believes until they try it: playing MORE aggressively gives you LESS variance, not more.

Raise wider than everyone at the table. 3-bet four times more often than the average small stakes player. Check-raise ten times more than anyone expects. Float to steal the pot later. Semi-bluff your strong draws instead of just calling with them.

Now you're winning pots without ever showing your cards — which means you're no longer at the mercy of what you get dealt.

And when you finally do flop a monster? They call you down, because they've watched you fire at pots all night and they can't believe you have it this time.

Small pots with nothing. Massive pots when it's real. That's what table image buys you.

If you're tired of losing at your local game, the fix usually isn't a better starting hand chart.

It's these three things:

Be the most aggressive player at the table. For most small stakes players that means 3-betting three or four times more often than you do now. Apply enough pressure and you start winning pots without ever showing your cards — which means you stop being at the mercy of what you're dealt.

Let your table image do the heavy lifting. Once you've built it, nobody takes a stand against you without a real hand. You steal pot after pot. Then when you finally do have it and bet big, somebody eventually doesn't believe you — and that's a massive pot.

Go for more value, but know who you're up against first. Every small stakes game has the same six player types, and how you extract value from Old Man Coffee is completely different from how you handle the young guy in the hoodie trying to play GTO all session.

That third one is where most players leave the most money on the table.

Two of the six are in the video. Which one are you?

This is the call every expert tells you never to make.

Gutshot draw. Deep stacks. And a very specific read on the player next to me — I'd mapped his character type early and knew exactly how he'd react if I hit.

Here's what made it work: I'd spent hours raising light and playing unpredictably.

So when the right card came, there was no way he was putting me on a straight.

He stacked off just like I thought he would.

The odds alone don't justify that call. The image does. That's Controlled Chaos™ — you build the setup for hours, then collect on it in one hand.

This is the hand that explains my entire strategy.

Pocket 8s in Vegas. I miss the flop completely but get a free card. Turn brings a set of 8s — and a flush. Local grinder check-raises me, I call. River pairs the board and I've got a full house.

He leads out. I ask how much he has behind, then push out a huge stack fast and loud, like a guy trying to bully him off a hand.

He called.

Not because of the math — because he'd watched me bluff and play aggressively for four straight hours and figured this was another bluff.

That's the whole point of Controlled Chaos™.

Your big hands get action all because of your table image.

I filmed real sessions in Vegas to show exactly how this works. Learn more in our free training webinar, 2 sessions daily over Zoom:

Every small stakes player has had this conversation with themselves. 😂

"I'm card dead. Everybody folds when I finally hit. I'm even wearing a GTO hat and nothing's working."

The problem usually isn't the cards. It's that the game changed and the old tight-aggressive playbook didn't.

Half your table is still running the same strategies from ten years ago.

I recently flew to Vegas and filmed real sessions in a real casino to show exactly how I take control of a table even when I'm not getting hands. It's all in a free training webinar.

I walked into Vegas with a plan — 3-bet 5x more than anyone else at the table.

Here's why I did it with K-9 suited, what it did to my table image, and what happened by the end of the session.

Spoiler: the cards almost didn't matter.

Most players play small stakes too passively. The counterintuitive secret to dominating? Aggressively 3-betting with hands you'd normally call or fold with. This shocking strategy creates an unreadable table image, leading to massive wins. Ready to change your game?
