For millennia, people have been searching for answers to what makes a life well-lived. While it may seem like a Hallmark card, research points to gratitude and mindfulness as key ingredients to happiness. As the year rounds out, now is a great time to cultivate an attitude of gratitude by slowing down and appreciating the people and things around you.
When starting therapy or counseling, make sure that your therapist is a good fit for YOU! If you’re not clicking, it’s not your fault - they may just not be the right match. It can be discouraging to feel like you’re starting over, but it will be worth it. Move forward and keep trying!
