The story lies within the smallest of details...
For Kaitlin and Jeremy’s Montana celebration, the design was rooted in storytelling, but expressed with a sense of lightness and personality. From the invitation suite to the smallest details on the table, every piece carried a thread of playfulness, custom elements, hand-drawn touches, and moments that felt personal without ever feeling overdone.
Illustrated napkins, thoughtful gifting, and a suite that set the tone early on all worked together to reflect the energy between them; youthful, effortless, and entirely their own.
It’s a reminder that cohesion doesn’t have to mean restraint. When done intentionally, it can feel layered, expressive, and full of character.
The kind of detail guests may not always articulate, but always feel.

For Lillian and Austin, Aspen in July offered the perfect backdrop: fresh greens, open skies, and that unmistakable mountain light.
Their invitation suite reflected it all with a light, refined palette and thoughtful detailing that felt at home against The Little Nell’s setting. From the first glimpse of the invitation suite, to ending the wedding night on the dancefloor, the stationery wove each piece of the wedding together with meaning.
Paired with the landscape, each element felt intentional, a natural extension of the place, the season, and the couple’s style.
A summer in Aspen, introduced on paper and fully realized at The Little Nell.

Late summer, at its softest.
Pastel tones, airy layouts, and lettering that felt almost weightless set the tone, while butterfly and floral motifs carried a quiet sense of movement throughout the day. A printed fabric seating chart drifted gently through the aspens, turning a functional detail into something atmospheric and alive within the space.
From menus to seating, every piece was designed to feel light, cohesive, and effortless, nothing competing and everything in conversation.
Finished with a single oversized bow on the couple’s getaway car, a final detail that felt both playful and perfectly placed.
A study in softness, movement, and restraint, exactly where late summer lives.

The sweetness of a summer wedding 💙
For Tatum and Cole, the invitation suite set a tone that felt soft, thoughtful, and quietly romantic. Blue-on-blue layers, silk ribbons, and a subtle mountain motif all came together to reflect an August morning in the mountains; slightly hazy, calm, and full of anticipation.
Nothing overstated, just carefully considered. Texture over excess, palette over contrast, and details that felt cohesive from the first envelope onward.
A suite designed to introduce the day with a sense of ease and intention. Summer wedding season is just days away, and we're excited for a full calendar of incredible couples. Have your planner reach out for 2027 weddings! https://luckyonion.com/pages/contact-page

It all started with our own love story.
Long before the business, the weddings, and the design studio, we were just two high school sweethearts. That perspective has quietly shaped everything we do. Having experienced so many of life’s milestones together, we’ve always understood how meaningful it is to mark those moments in a way that feels personal and lasting.
Stationery became part of our own story early on, a way to share, celebrate, and hold onto the moments that matter.
Today, that same intention carries through our work. Thoughtful, story-driven details that help transform a wedding into something guests don’t just attend, but remember.

It's that time of year again. We are getting ready for more incredible mountain views, destinations, and summer nights spent celebrating love!💫
This August Vail wedding suite consisted of delicate layers, organic texture, and a soft earthy palette. These intentional details carried into the day with minimalist text, a grounded palette, and drapey details, set in front of a stunning layered mountain backdrop.

Let's talk seating charts!
Seating charts are an underrated tough-point to enhance the guest experience with creative design choices. We love built seating chart installs that perfectly compliment the wedding design.
It's an opportunity to make each guest feel cherished as they find their names placed with intention and care, and sometimes a little flare (see the bookshelf!). Standing alone in artistry, yet highlighting design choices, we urge as much thought go into a seating chart as it does the rest of the stationery.
Having one stop for all of these intentional design details can seamlessly transition your guests through a beautiful wedding experience! Let's get designing- have your planner reach out through messages or our website!
