Manual Middle School highlight of the week. National Junior Honor Society Celebration

82 scholars were inducted or recognized.

To qualify for NJHS, students must demonstrate:

A 3.5 cumulative GPA
Leadership among peers
Service to the community
Strong character and citizenship
Positive participation in classes and school activities
Role model behavior at Manual Middle School

We are especially proud that Manual is one of only three schools in Denver Public Schools with an NJHS chapter, and the only Title I school in DPS with a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.

This is an incredible accomplishment for our students and school community.

All DPS schools and administrative offices are closed on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, due to severe weather. This includes the Emily Griffith Technical College. All school-related events and activities, including athletic practices and all Discovery Link and ELCS Enrichment programs, are also canceled. Any CHSSA-sanctioned competitions are still scheduled right now. Coaches, please consult with your Athletic Director about your game.

We will continue to monitor the weather and will announce any updates first on the DPS homepage at www.dpsk12.org and district social media channels.
