Unshackle yourself.

We are ALL the villain in SOMEBODY’s story.
What YOU need to figure out is WHY you even care.

So much to say but none of it being said, because YOU think you’re not worthy of understanding.

We should be sharing so much more with each other, but maybe we should all be silent until everyone’s agenda is to UNDERSTAND.

When people say you can’t take your old habits into your dream life, they’re not just saying that.

If you could, that life would already be yours.

Your future ACTUALLY requires that present you is leaving former you behind.

No one knows your story quite like you do or the demons you battle silently on your pillow while the world turns.

And the hardest decisions we make are those that disrupt our closest relationships even though they set us free inside.

But what was the last thing that was no longer serving you (no matter how big or small), that you did for the last time?

If you need to but you haven’t, tonight write what it is on a piece of paper, burn it and let it be done.

You done became the resident therapist and ain’t even realized it. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m not saying you shouldn’t be a support system for your friends, but if that’s all you are to them you need to start sending invoices for your sessions. 🤨

You should feel like a part of the circle and not just a caged bird nobody brings out. Make sure you are speaking up for yourself, because that gets very lonely after a while. 🫶🏽

Let them. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Because the only way to gain the approval of persons determined to reject you, is by pretending to be what you are not. This is 2025. We’re done living under duress and in contempt.

Before you go discrediting what it took for you to finish this year.

Lean into the wonder of your unique strength.

Strong for me was kicking depression’s ass,

And finally learning how to cheerfully let go and move on.

For some it was forgiveness.

For others, strong was business success.

For some, it was the discernment to rest as needed.

If you look within and not without, you WILL discover that you in fact have finished strong.

❌ AnyTHING you believe is holding you back and anyONE you believe is holding you in position, does not actually have that power.

It’s YOU that is choosing fear.
It’s YOU that is choosing guilt.
It’s YOU that is choosing shame.
It’s YOU that is choosing complacency.
It’s YOU that is choosing to pander to every expectation there is of you, except the ones you have of yourself.

Choice is your power.
So WHATEVER it takes, I promise you that it’s already yours.

Go ahead.
Unleash your “weird”.
Your “loud”.
Your “intelligent”.
Your “gay”.
Your fashion.
Your skin.
Your talent.
Your song.
Your idea.

Go RAW.
Get NAKED.
