Welcome JETAA Philippines!!

Congratulations to our newest official chapter, JETAA Philippines! Following a vote by the Executive Committee, they have been formally accepted as the 18th full member chapter of JETAA International. After several years as an Associate Member, participating as an observer, they will now enjoy full participation and voting rights on the EC. The alumni in the Philippines have worked hard to overcome a number of challenges and meet the requirements for membership, and we look forward to continuing to support their efforts as they build on this accomplishment.

We invite you to attend one of our upcoming JET Program Informational Webinars to learn more about the program and the application process. Sessions will be held on Zoom on October 13 from 5:00-6:00pm (Thursday), October 18 from 7:00-8:00pm (Tuesday), and October 24 from 7:30-8:30pm (Monday). Please register using the QR codes below or via the links in the comments. If you would like a PDF flyer with information about the webinars to distribute, please message us. We hope anyone interested in the JET program will attend!

The JET Program has expanded and evolved over the last 35 years, but our commitment to facilitating grassroots international exchange between Japan and other nations has always remained the same! This success is thanks to the thousands of exceptional JET Program participants, who have always been dedicated cultural ambassadors, as well as the unwavering support of cooperating government ministries and organizations in Japan. We are proud to carry this mission into the future, and thank everyone for 35 amazing years!
