Can we all share three highlights from this week below.

For me ... 1. It was watching Jack on a zoom call with his class and laughing until my cheeks hurt listening to their little voices share what they've been doing at home ( shout out to the friend who has a new pet snail 🐌)

2. It was laying out all of the gorgeous seed packets from and planting little baby flower seeds in their little pods with Jack and Violet (I miiiiiight be a full time flower farmer on the other side of this).

3. It was sharing the most inspiring conversations with and with the amazing women in my business mastermind.

How's everyone's "extended at home sabbatical" going?

Jason’s now insisting the kids refer to him as “Mr. Grahame” between 9am and 2pm so THATS something.

We really are trying to make the best of it you know?

Beside’s Jason’s ... sorry, Mr. Grahame’s new roll as homeschool teacher, something else I'm loving is seeing what everyone else is doing to manage, keep things light and keep life moving.

My friends feel the same and so we've partnered up (with freshly washed hands and at a safe social distance) to roll out the virtual welcome mat to share what's working (for the most part) in our house and I'de LOVE to hear what's working in yours.

One big win this week was starting an hour-by-hour routine.

I'm rolling my own eyes as I write this, because honestly I would have never believed we could actually stick to a routine this past week, but (for the most part) we have. And here's why I think it worked.

We let the kids be part of the process. We brought up a chalkboard from the basement and together, as a family, wrote an hour-by-hour routine for the day. We don't stick to it perfectly, but it helps when the kids start into “I'm booorred”, to check in with the schedule to see what we're all supposed to be doing. Even if you don't have kids at home, creating a routine for life at home can be oddly comforting. Control what you can control these days, ya know?

Now what I really need is help figuring out the best way to enjoy a little mama alone time when I get a precious second.... wine... bubble bath...netflix... all of the above? What's your vote, help a mama out!!!
