Today’s Activities 🐜✨
Children created ant crafts using egg cartons and engaged in a hands-on sensory experience with shaving cream and toy insects. This activity supported fine motor development, creativity, and early science exploration as children explored textures and learned about bugs through play.

Children explored a bug sensory bin using tweezers and bug catchers to pick up and examine plastic insects in the dirt. This activity supported fine motor development through grasping and coordination, while also promoting sensory exploration and early science skills as children observed and identified different bugs.

Ice Melt Exploration – Letter G Activity
Today, children engaged in a hands-on sensory experience exploring ice and water as part of our monthly theme focused on weather and water play. Using their hands, they observed how ice melts with warmth, strengthening their understanding of cause and effect and early science concepts.

As part of our literacy integration, children were introduced to the letter G while using the color of the month green during their activity. This experience supported fine motor development, sensory exploration, and cognitive growth through active, meaningful play.
