Today is the day! THANK each of you that has provided overwhelming support and such positive feedback! Elected or not, this proves that our Community sees the value in what I do every single day.

To the Voters: Vote like your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and neighbors children depend on it. Vote with an informed decision and a growth mindset. Don't let all the shenanigans stop you from keeping your eye on the prize: Davidson County Schools, Our Students, Our Teachers and Our Parents thriving!

I am highly knowledgeable in data collection, funding sources, Special Education law, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, I/DD, Crisis Response and Complex Needs Children.

I was an inaugural member of the NC DPI Parent Advisory Commission selected by Superintendent Truitt, I am a current member of the Parent Advisory Committee for the NC DPI Center for Safer Schools, a Professional member of COPAA and a Nationally Certified Family Peer Specialist.

When researching candidates please ask yourself if they have the experience and understanding to meet the demands of this elected position.

While I applaud the candidate's that are providing overwhelming support to our WNC neighbors, our schools and neighbors here are also in crisis. I am available 24/7 to try to support families in our county everyday and it would be an honor to win your vote.

Got to have a GREAT conversation with Mike Loomis with RACE AGAINST DRUGS 501-C3 NONPROFIT this evening! To share the passion we both have for children, families and individuals in Davidson County experiencing Mental Health, Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse crisis was an absolute breath of fresh air! I look forward to many more conversations on how big changes can be made within Davidson County and Davidson County Schools!

Chris and I met up with a friend of his today to drop off some antennas. Moe is part of Humanity First International and we were discussing upcoming disaster relief efforts for Western North Carolina.
