Dear DCA Family,

Here are some important reminders to help your student have a fun and successful Field Day on Friday:

Only those parents/guardians who are both approved check and officially signed up to volunteer will be able to assist with Field Day activities. Being on the approved volunteer list alone does not grant access to help at the event—you must also be signed up for a designated role. Sign-up for Field Day here!

*Morning Carline will end at 7:50am. The parking lot will be closed from 7:55am - 3:00pm for Field Day. Please park at the Cedar St. Public Parking lot and walk over to DCA.

🥪 Lunch:
Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza (gluten free options available) will be provided to all students and volunteers courtesy of PTO.

👕 Dress Code:
Since Field Day is outdoors, students may wear:

Field Day shirts with shorts
💦 Swimwear (Worn UNDER clothes):
All students must arrive with swimwear under their clothes.
Girls: One-piece swimsuit OR athletic/bike shorts with a rash guard
Boys: Rash guard or t-shirt with swim shorts

👟 Footwear:
Only tennis shoes or water shoes are allowed.
🚫 No flip-flops or sandals, please!

🧼 Change of Clothes & Towel:

Pack a full change of clothes (including underwear & socks)
Bring a towel
All items should be in a plastic bag labeled with the student’s name (so it can be reused for wet clothes)
☀️ Sunscreen & Bug Spray:
Please apply at home before school.

🧢 Hats & Sunglasses:
Students may wear them but must keep up with their own items.

UPDATE: We are cancelling bingo/chili cookoff night due to low interest. In lieu of bingo night, we are having a Slick City spirit night on Tuesday, April 21st!
