The @resistancerevivalchorus was proud to sing the words of Woody Guthrie — plus a new verse of our own — for the thousands of New Yorkers who showed up at one of hundreds of ICE Out for Good rallies + marches across the country in solidarity with Minneapolis today. This song is dedicated to the thousands of Minnesotans who took to the streets in -20 degree weather in a massive general strike that shut down the Twin Cities today. We stand with Minneapolis against the killing of Renee Good and all victims of ICE, the assault on the Twin Cities — and Chicago, New Orleans, LA, Portland, Oregon, and now Portland, Maine — and the abduction of our immigrant neighbors all across the country. We demand the abolition of 🧊and freedom from detention, deportation, and the expanding reach of the surveillance state. Ice out of America, #ICEoutForGood.
