I have finally relocated back to the North Texas area to provide affordable, quality, childcare in my home! I took some time from in-home childcare during COVID and used that time to further my education in working with children on the autism spectrum. I am proud of those accomplishments, but I am super excited to be able to offer childcare in my home to parents that work hard, and want the best for their kiddos! I have 2 biological daughters, who are pre-teens and 4 bonus children (3 of which are headed to college) and a toddler! I am a graduate of UNT (GO EAGLES!) I have 20+ years experience in childcare, as well as an educational background in applied behavior analysis or ABA. This type of teaching allows children off and on the autism spectrum to learn in a way that equips them to learn social, emotional, and daily skills, and function regularly in society. To be able to provide these services in my home is a dream come true! My goal is to open a facility that merges main stream children with children on the autism spectrum in order to promote social learning at an early age. I will use that platform to educate families on autism and the most effective ways of reaching those individuals at an early age to encourage independence! It just takes time and patience. I provide flexible payment options for families that qualify, and each child is provided breakfast, lunch, snack in addition to special events throughout the year! We adapt the Mother Goose curriculum with modifications depending on the different age groups, intellectual, and behavioral needs. Because we are not a huge organization, and every child is provided an exceptional experience while enrolled, every family is required to complete an application, as well as an in person interview with parent(s) &child, as well as a complimentary preview day prior to enrollment. This ensures it will be a great fit for us all! The kiddos learn on a fairly structured scheduled, however, kids are kids and adjustments are always something I am able to discern may be needed. Our days are filled with music, learning, interactive, and physical play, creative play, ABA, and free play. Your child's comfort safety are of the utmost importance to me. I am CPR/First Aid/ AED certified, and also have 10 years as a medical assistant working in every area of clinical care. I am very attentive to children's medical needs if need be, and am always transparent with parents, as well as maintain very strict rules concerning sickness or other friends and their attendance. There is so much more I could say, so I have a manual located on this page for your information, or feel free to ask me anything if you have any questions. If you are looking for a provider that is dependable, nurturing, experienced, and absolutely affordable, please feel free to reach out to me to schedule an interview! Feel free to look around the page, and ask questions if you have any!
