Today, our hearts were full as Mrs. Bryant read to our 5th grade graduates for the very last time as elementary students. From their first days in our halls to this exciting milestone, these students have grown into confident leaders, kind friends, and future world changers. Watching them listen, and reflect during this special moment was a beautiful reminder of how far they’ve come. We are so proud of each and every one of our 5th graders and can’t wait to see the amazing things ahead for them!💚

This summer, Lake Dallas ISD will connect children 18 and younger with healthy, no cost summer meals.🍏
Meals will be served at 2 LDISD Campuses from June 1 through June 25, Monday through Thursday.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a U.S. Department of Agriculture nutrition program administered in the Lone Star State by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). For the children who rely on school meals during the academic year, these meals offer a source of good nutrition when school is out for the long summer vacation.

Lake Dallas ISD is only one of the nonprofit organizations partnering with TDA to serve meals across Texas. Families are encouraged to use these three tools to find a meal site anywhere in the state:

Today we celebrate our graduating seniors who once called Shady Shores Elementary home! 🎓💚 We loved welcoming these former Shady Shores students back to where their journey began and celebrating all they’ve accomplished. Your Shady Shores family is proud of you! 🦅

Our Pre-K4 students are putting the finishing touches on tomorrow’s graduation ceremony! 🎓 From practicing songs to perfecting their smiles, they’re ready to shine and celebrate a year full of growth, learning, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to cheer on our little graduates!

The foam party was a hit! Thank you Shady Shores PTA for filling our last full day of school with JOY!

Our fifth graders turned the STEAM lab into a hub of creativity today — designing, building, testing, and thinking like real innovators. From teamwork to problem-solving, creativity won the day!

Field days are in full effect and the kids are having a blast and learning life long skills at the same time! We love our Falcon Field Days! 💚💚💚

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade choir! They received a score of Superior 1+ at their NRH20 competition last Friday! Way to go Falcons! 💚💚💚 🎶 🎶
