Students, faculty and staff celebrated the start of our 143rd school year with a community cookout, beautiful weather and plenty of excitement for what lies ahead.

And just like that, we are ready. Let’s make it an incredible year, LANCERS!

Yesterday marked the final day of registration as we welcomed the last of our students back to campus. Today, our 143rd school year officially began!

Students are kicking off the year with orientation, a community cookout, activities and athletics. Campus is once again filled with energy, excitement and familiar faces.

We couldn’t be happier to have our students back, and we can’t wait to share their accomplishments, experiences and memorable moments throughout the year. Here’s to an incredible school year at St. John’s Northwestern!

It was a busy weekend on campus as new and returning members of the St. John’s Northwestern JROTC Corps of Cadets participated in Cadet Recruit Training.

Today’s ceremony and oath marked the official beginning of their journey together for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are proud of all they accomplished and look forward to an incredible school year ahead!

Regina Wang and Allison Belt first stood in this spot as seventh graders, just beginning their journeys at St. John’s Northwestern. Now, they return as seniors, standing in the same place with bigger dreams, new goals and years of memories behind them.

Same place. Different goals. So much growth. Here’s to their final year and everything still ahead.

Some familiar faces and some new ones returned to St. John’s Northwestern today as we completed another successful registration for our JROTC Corps of Cadets! ❤️

It was wonderful seeing students and families back on campus and welcoming those joining the SJN community for the first time.

Just one more registration day on Monday, and then we’ll officially have a full house once again!

We’re ready for an incredible year ahead. 🎉

The votes are in… and veggies took the win! Students on campus got an early taste of what’s ahead for dining at St. John’s Northwestern when Chef Kaitlin kicked off a Double Dip Challenge featuring two creative takes on guacamole:

🥭 Tropical Fruit with mango, pineapple and mint
🥦 Vegetable packed with broccoli, spinach, edamame and peppers

Students sampled both, cast their votes, and Vegetable Guacamole came out on top! 🏆 A fun first glimpse of the fresh energy Chef Kaitlin and FISD are bringing to campus dining this year. And if this is what’s happening before school officially begins, we can’t wait to see what’s on the menu next! 👀🍴

It’s beginning to feel alive again on campus. ❤️

Suitcases are arriving. Cleats are hitting the fields. New faces are becoming familiar ones.

International Student Orientation is underway, Lancers soccer and football are already back on campus, and registration has begun.

St. John’s Northwestern is coming alive again — and we’re just getting started.
