🌟 Welcome to Facilitating Futures Homeschool Co-op! 🌟
We are excited to introduce Facilitating Futures Homeschool Co-op—a community-driven homeschool cooperative based in the Mid-Del area, dedicated to creating a nurturing, inclusive space for all individuals pursuing alternative learning paths. Through connections and excursions, we explore our environment and engage in hands-on learning, from infancy through high school and beyond.
Our co-op is co-created on the values of healing, growth, and exploration as we support one another in each lifelong learning journey. We believe that learning is a personal journey best traveled together, and our community is here to provide meaningful support every step of the way.
Framing the Focus
Hands-on, Sensory-Based Learning: We create experiences that engage all the senses—light, sound, texture, taste, scent, and beyond—to foster a multi-sensory discovery environment.
Creative Exploration: From handmade art supplies and slime kits to books and crafts, we learn by creating. Our co-op activities allow participants to make, use, and even sell the things we create together through fundraising to snowball our efforts and FUN and PLAY!
Community Participation: We encourage all to be active participants in every aspect of the co-op, in whatever way that feels comfortable to each individual. Afterall, teamwork makes the dream work! And collaboration is key to the growth and success of our group.
Healing from Trauma: Many of us are on a healing journey from personal, educational, religious, or generational trauma. We understand that discovery is a deeply personal experience, and we’re committed to fostering a supportive, trauma-informed environment.
Collaboration and Documentation: Together, we create, learn, and grow. We organize and document our journey in shared spaces, showcasing our accomplishments and celebrating each step as an example of "What’s possible?"
Our co-op is adaptable, flexible, and interest-led, encouraging all to pursue their interests and passions with guidance and support, which fosters community, independence and creativity. Each member has the freedom to shape their learning journey, with families and individuals taking the lead in their own journey through interactive experiences, collaborative projects, and entrepreneurial ventures.

We welcome families and individuals of all ages and stages to join us in building a community rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and creativity. This co-op is a place where every voice matters, and every individual contributes to a richer, more diverse learning experience.

By fostering creativity, community collaboration, and trauma-informed support, we co-create an alternative learning foundation that honors and values each unique learning journey.

We see a future where learning is inclusive, adaptable, and joyful—an empowering space that meets learners where they are and supports them as they build the foundations of their limitless potential.
Nonprofit Model Fundraising
As we grow, fundraising efforts will be used to expand our resources and increase our impact in the community. We aim to co-create a nonprofit that continues to make alternative learning accessible, empowering all lifelong learners—each and every one of us.
