🇺🇸 Remembering September 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, first responders, service members, and communities forever changed by that day.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and kindness that emerged in the midst of tragedy. May we continue to teach our children the importance of compassion, unity, courage, and caring for one another.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

The hardest goodbye to our incredible Chef Nesli. ❤️

Chef Nesli poured so much love into our school kitchen and into every meal she made for our kids. She somehow managed to make food that was nutritious, delicious, and kid-approved — while bringing so much joy to the kitchen every day.

We’re so happy for her as she moves on to something that works better for her and her family, but we’re going to miss her more than we can say. Her smile, her hugs, and the love she brought into our school each day won’t be easy to replace.

Our students gave her the sweetest send-off, complete with handmade cards, big hugs, and plenty of love. ❤️

Thank you for taking such good care of our kids, Chef Nesli. We’ll miss you!
