Dear Learn to Skate Families,
I am excited to share that I have brought on a co-director to support our Learn to Skate programming. This addition will bring fresh ideas, new energy, and a shared love of skating to the experience we provide for our students and families.
Please welcome Belinda Dorn, a coach with over 20 years of experience with the Nantucket Skating Club. She has experience in Synchronized skating as well as Theater on ice. Belinda loves to teach beginner skaters of ALL ages and is currently accepting new private students.
Having a co-director will also help ensure consistent coverage during absences and busy program times, allowing our sessions to continue running smoothly. Just as importantly, it will give us more opportunities to be present, visible, and directly engaged with the families of our skaters.
Our goal is to continue creating a welcoming, organized, and positive environment where every skater can build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy their time on the ice. I am grateful for your continued support and look forward to the great things ahead for our Learn to Skate community.

This is why you NEVER EVER stop skating !!!!!

Donelda has been on ice for an amazing 74 years! "I started skating because I love the freedom. I performed with Holiday on Ice and Jamboree on Ice in the 1960’s. Now I enjoy finding the right music and competing because I always need new goals. I also appreciate the opportunity to have met many of the top competitive skaters personally."
