It’s fundraiser time! The Deer Trail FFA Chapter is kicking off our Fall Fundraiser with World’s Finest Chocolates. Each bar is only $2, and you can choose from:

Thank you to everyone who voted! We had a tie between May 8th at 7:00 p.m. and May 10th at 9:00 a.m.
To help avoid conflicts with work schedules, we’ve decided to hold the meeting on:
Thursday, May 8th @ 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

🌾🚜 FFA Regional CDEs in Lamar! 🌾🐴

We are SO proud of our amazing FFA students who took the initiative to attend the Regional Career Development Events (CDEs) in Lamar! 👏 These competitions are rigorous, packed with real-world, industry-level knowledge, and offer hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for future ag careers. 🌟

💼 Ag Sales:
🧑‍🌾 Itzel Marquez placed 46th as an individual.
🔹(We didn’t have a full team — with more members, our ranking would’ve soared!)

🌸 Floriculture:
🌼 Landree Cox - 87th
🌹 Kylie Bryant - 111th
🌻 Fatuma Hussein - 103rd
As a team, they placed 27th.
(This is a VERY popular CDE!)

🌽 Field Crops:
🌾 Ayden Martinez - 24th
🌱 Alex Samate - 25th
As a team, they placed 9th out of 10 teams (with only 2 team members — a full team would’ve made a big difference!)

🐎 Horse Judging:
🐴 Jaden Gudenkauf - 58th
🐎 Chauncy Gudenkauf - 59th
🐴 Valentino Puente - 72nd
Team placed 16th out of 27 teams

These students put in so much work and gained valuable knowledge and skills from this experience! 💪🌟 We couldn't be more proud of their efforts, dedication, and willingness to step up and represent our chapter. 💙💛
