🎨🐾 PAINT, PLAY & GET CREATIVE! 🐾🎨

Golden Steps Academy is hosting a Sensory-Friendly Children’s Paint and sit Saturday, August 22nd! 💛

The theme is ANIMALS around the world! 🦁🐢🦋🐘
Kids can choose from a pre-made animal canvas or use their imagination and free paint.

🖌️ Canvas & paint supplies included
🥤 Light refreshments provided

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent must stay for the duration of the event

Two sessions available:
12:00–1:30 PM
2:00–3:30 PM

🎓💛 It’s graduation time at Golden Steps Academy!

This week, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible Golden Scholars and all of the progress they’ve made throughout the program. From building friendships to strengthening communication, confidence, and independence, every scholar has taken meaningful golden steps forward. 🌟

We are so proud of the effort, growth, and determination they have shown along the way. Every new skill, every proud smile, and every small victory deserves to be celebrated. 💛

🐙✨Teamwork Makes Learning Fun!

This week, our Golden Scholars practiced teamwork as they created their final class project 💛

Our scholars worked alongside one another to create a lovely octopus floating in the sea with beaded tentacles and fuzzy spots 🫧

Activities like this give our scholars the opportunity to practice sharing materials, working together, taking turns, following directions, and using those little hands to build important fine motor skills.** 💕👏

Summer Social Skills with GSA ! ☀️💛

This week, our scholars explored emotions while building teamwork, creativity, and friendship. Our scholars enjoyed building marble towers, creating animals with colorful blocks, and reading books relating to emotions.

They also created their own feelings booklets to help identify, understand, and express different emotions.

At GSA, we love learning through play , because every activity is a chance to grow! ✨

Summer Social Skills is in session! 💛 🌞

This week, our scholars created their very own “All About Me” posters and stood in front of their classmates to present them. They practiced confidence, communication, listening, turn taking, all while learning about one another.

Our scholars have been Connecting with one another & building social skills through bubble dance parties, play dough cook-offs, group table games, and team building activities.

They are practicing teamwork, communication, turn-taking, and friendship building while having a ton of fun ! ♾️☺️ 🧩💙

Congratulations to Golden Steps Academy's Very First Graduating Class 💛 🎓

This week was filled with celebration, connection, and reflection as we honored our very first graduating class of Golden Scholars!

This week scholars practiced all of the social skills that they have worked so hard to develop, including communication, turn-taking, emotional regulation, peer interaction, problem-solving, and self-advocacy. Watching their growth has been truly inspiring.

Every certificate earned represents hard work, perseverance, and meaningful progress. We are incredibly proud of each scholar and grateful to the families who trusted us to be part of their journey.
