UPDATE: an Indianapolis mother has signed a plea agreement admitting to reckless homicide and neglect in the shooting death of her two-year-old son. The most serious charge against Keiara Bickett, neglect of a dependent resulting in death, will be dismissed.
In June 2025, Bickett’s son, Javarius, shot and killed himself with her gun, which he allegedly found in his mom’s purse. This happened in a CVS parking lot while Bickett was driving, her son was in the middle of the front seat, and her nine-year-old daughter was in the passenger seat.
Bickett will formally plead guilty and her sentence will be open to the judge at a hearing scheduled for September 15.

Some people do not know what they have. 💜Cherish it and her while she lives 💐 because she will not always be here. 💜

Y’all wanna know some funny? I co-parent with my mom. 😂 I make arrangements while I work with my mom, if I got something to do or wanna do something on the weekend I call my mom.
If I lack something my mom picks up my slack. If I need help making a decision for my children I consult with my mom..
I thank God every single day for that lady, cause I’d really be struggling out here with no support if it wasnt for her.
I owe her the world for that fr.

Here’s Why Trump Accounts Are The New Era for Kids’ Financial Futures: Move over piggy banks, the “Trump Accounts” (Section 530A) are here to revolutionize how kids save and invest. Launching in July 2026, these tax-advantaged IRAs for children under 18 promise to be a game-changer. With a $5,000 annual contribution cap and a $1,000 government seed for kids born between 2025 and 2028, these accounts are designed to grow alongside your child. News Corp (NASDAQ: NWSA) even sweetened the deal by matching the government’s contribution for its employees. No earned income is required to contribute, and funds grow tax-deferred. The accounts favor wealthier families who can max out contributions, but proponents highlight the potential for financial literacy and long-term security. Imagine your kid turning 18 with a portfolio of low-cost ETFs and index funds—talk about a head start! Lam Research (NASDAQ: LRCX) and Howmet Aerospace (NYSE: HWM) are catching the eye of savvy investors, boasting annualized returns of 29% in high-growth dividend portfolios. Whether these accounts will truly democratize investing or just widen the wealth gap. The Trump Accounts are sparking conversations—and maybe a little sibling rivalry over who gets the bigger portfolio. Parents, are you ready to file IRS Form 4547 and give your kids a financial edge? Or are you still debating if this is just another political gimmick? The clock is ticking, and the market waits for no one.
