It’s forging day!!!! So here is the last forging camp we hosted Ellsworth Dansby Jr. Magnet School for their boys STEM camp!

They learned to hand forge their grilling tools then put them to use making lunch each day! What a good way to burn a few days of summer in front of a forge.

Iron IKE hit the streets for the 2026 Eisenhower High School Homecoming Parade! 💛🖤

Iron IKE represents the incredible talent of our EHS & MHS Metalworking agriculture and industrial technology students! ⚒️

We aren’t done with IKE yet but with craftsmanship, teamwork, and school spirit both schools have come together through our Agriculture program to make the legacy of IKE stand for years to come!!

Three of our students from our Urban Forestry class put their forestry skills to the test at the Section 16 Forestry CDE today. They competed in tree identification, timber cruising, forest management, compass and map orienteering, equipment identification, and a written test. They had a great time competing, gaining hands-on experience, and learning more about forestry along the way. Good job! 🌲🧭🌳

This week we attended the IL FFA State Convention in Springfield! We attended several sessions and got to hear some memorable speeches from members and supporters. Marissa had the honor of playing in the drum line and A’Myla and Gunner served as delegates voting in our new state officers!

Our newest class of Career Pathways students are off to a strong start!

On day two of orientation last week, they had the chance to meet our group president, Denise, during her visit — an exciting way to kick off their journey.

Through our learn and earn program, this group of high school seniors is beginning a year-long opportunity to gain real-world experience in manufacturing.

The future looks bright! ✨
