Congratulations to Mrs. Holley and her School-Based Enterprise, Shoppes at One Eleven, for receiving the 2026–2027 Regional Work-Based Learning (WBL) Best Practices Award!

Work-based learning bridges the gap between classroom instruction and real-world employment by connecting curriculum to authentic workplace tasks. Through these experiences, students develop valuable technical and employability skills while receiving hands-on guidance and mentorship.

As the regional winner, Shoppes at One Eleven is now a contender for the Alabama Seal of Excellence in Work-Based Learning. Mrs. Holley will also have the privilege of presenting Shoppes at One Eleven at the Southeast Alabama WBL Convening on October 29, 2026, at the LBW Community College Greenville Campus.

We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Holley and her students for this outstanding accomplishment and wish them the best as they advance to the next level!

Open House is almost here!

The countdown to a brand-new school year has begun, and we couldn't be more excited!

The Holtville High School CTE Department is looking forward to welcoming both our returning students and those joining the Bulldog family for the first time. Open House is the perfect opportunity to meet your teachers, explore your classes, and get excited about all that's in store this year.

Mr. Palmer’s Ag students have been hard at work in the shop! 🔨🌱

These young men recently built a beautiful wooden flower planter from start to finish, putting their craftsmanship, teamwork, and creativity on display. We love seeing students gain real-world skills while creating something they can be proud of.

What an incredible day at our Student Market! 🎉🐾

Our students worked so hard designing, creating, marketing, and selling their products, and we could not be more proud of them. This event was a great opportunity for students to showcase their creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills in a real-world setting.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported our students, and helped make this event such a success! Your support means so much to our programs and our students. 💚

🥚✨ Learning + Creativity in Action! ✨🥚

Our Marketing students had a hands-on day diving into the world of packaging and branding! They explored how Eggland’s Best uses packaging to stand out and attract customers in a competitive market.

Then it was their turn to get creative! 🎨
Students dyed eggs and designed their own custom egg cartons, all with one goal in mind — to sell their product to a specific target audience.

From bright colors to unique designs, these students are learning that packaging isn’t just about looks… it’s about strategy! 💡📦

We love seeing creativity and marketing skills come together in such a fun way!
