Divine Child High School Theatre is proud to be the host for this special showcase, featuring several of our own DC Thespians!

Join us tonight for the DATA Awards at Edsel Ford High School to celebrate a wonderful 2025/26 Theatre season! The event begins at 7pm and is free and open to the public.

This morning, a few of our high school thespians had the pleasure of being invited by DCES First grade teacher, Mrs. Valerie Sanders, to their “Fairytale Ball”.
Merlin the Wizard, Ariel, Snow White, Peter Pan, Maleficent and Prince Charming mingled, colored, played games, danced and told stories while enjoying punch and sweet treats with the kids, who were simply enamored with their special guests.
It was a wonderful event and we were honored to be included.

Divine Child High School Theatre would like to congratulate all our student thespians and directors on their nominations for the Dearborn Area Theatre Association’s DATA Awards.
Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 19th at 7pm at Edsel Ford High School.

Tonight, we held our annual Divine Child High School Thespian Banquet, inducting new members in to the International Thespian Society. These students showed deep dedication to their craft, whether they participated on stage, back stage, in the tech booth or designing and building sets.

Congratulations to this year’s inductees: Paige Mack, Rachel Jordan, Jeanette Dehn, Lucy Patrick, Sabrina Scicluna, Morgan Garrett, Andres Ramirez, Dominic Lewis, Craig Milliken and Aleksander Dewey.

The Directing Team also celebrated another successful theatre season with our parents, casts and crews from this year’s productions of The Play That Goes Wrong and Footloose the Musical.

Next up- the DATA Awards, honoring Dearborn-area high school theatre students and directors for their productions this season (our version of the Tony Awards). The ceremony will take place on May 19th at 7pm, location tbd.
