Kick off your Maine Paranormal & Horror Convention weekend on Friday, September 11, 2026, with an exclusive paranormal investigation at the historic Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta, Maine.

Built in 1901 by Maine's 45th Governor, John Fremont Hill, this incredible mansion has earned a reputation for unexplained activity. Staff and visitors have reported full-body apparitions, shadow figures, disembodied voices, and other chilling experiences throughout the property.

Your investigation will be led by the Boo Fighters and Chandler's Haunts from 9:00 PM until Midnight. Bring your favorite paranormal equipment, or use some of the gear that will be available on-site.

To give everyone the best possible experience, attendance is strictly limited to just 25 guests. Participants will be divided into five small groups of five, creating a more intimate and interactive investigation.

Great night at Old Fort Western - Augusta, Maine , hosted by Boo Fighters Paranormal

Thanks to all who came out last night to support us and this incredible piece of history in our community, Old Fort Western - Augusta, Maine. It’s truly a privilege to know such wonderful, supportive people with similar interests and priorities, who respect the significance of the historical locations we raise money for, as well as the integrity of the evidence we collect.

We are honored to know each and every one of you. You guys are the backbone of this industry, helping us piece together the puzzle that is the paranormal.

One day in the future, all the proxy data we’ve collected will form the basis for what will eventually be the explanation of the paranormal…

After all, what some people call “pseudoscience,” plus time, often equals science.

We’re incredibly grateful to the friends we’ve made along the way.

Special shoutout to Danalea Dustin and James Cooper for keeping their heads on straight in the midst of chaos, to The Maine Paranormal & Horror Con, The Radikals, and ADAM The Historian Ghost Hunter for being our celebrity guests, to Crispy Chris for being a good sport as a conduit last night, and an extra special shoutout to Jessie (Steve Harris), the best junior investigator we’ve ever had attend one of our events.

Special thanks to Cathy, and Linda at the fort for allowing us the opportunity to do this. It was truly an incredible experience.
